Power BI Desktop  is a free application you can install on your local computer that lets you connect to, transform, and visualize your data. With  Power BI Desktop , you can connect to multiple different sources of data, and combine them (often called modeling) into a data model that lets you build visuals, and collections of visuals you can share as reports, with other people inside your organization. WHAT IS POWER BI REPORT : A Power BI  report  is a multi-perspective view into a data set, with visualizations that represent different findings and insights from that data set. A report can have a single visualization or pages full of visualizations. Depending  on your job role, you may be someone who  creates  reports and/or you may be someone who  consumes  or uses reports. ADVANTAGES OF REPORTS : Reports are based on a single data set.
